Activewear manufacturer Active Clothing Co has marked its entry into the multi-brand retail segment with the launch of retail outlets under the brand name NUEMO.
NUEMO is conceived as a multi-brand retail platform focused on capturing growth opportunities in India’s Tier-2 and Tier-3 towns.
The retail format will feature flexible store models offering men’s, women’s, and kids’ apparel under one roof, along with category-specific outlets for local consumer demand.
Through this initiative, the company based in Mohali, Punjab aims to achieve a projected topline of approximately Rs. 200–250 crore (US $20.88 million – US $26.11 million) within four years, subject to market conditions and execution performance.
The projection highlights the company’s ambition to build a meaningful retail footprint through the new platform and aligned with evolving consumer preferences.
Its product portfolio includes various types of garments across several categories: flat knit sweaters, outerwear jackets, circular knit T-shirts, sweatshirts, joggers, shoe uppers, knitted toys and home furnishing.
The company has an annual production capacity of 3 million pieces of knitwear, 500,000 jackets, 1.8 million T-shirts, and 750,000 pairs of shoe uppers.
