American apparel brand Abercrombie & Fitch plans to make two selective openings by the end of January 2025 to increase its footprint in London’s upscale shopping district.
The expansion of the NYSE-listed company places the brand in two of London’s most sought-after retail locations- 325 Oxford Street and 132 Long Acre in Covent Garden.
The locations will launch the company’s athleisure brand, Your Personal Best (YPB), and display the retailer’s Best Dressed collection, which includes formal attire like the Collins suit line.
Scott Clarke-Bryan, Managing Director of EMEA at Abercrombie & Fitch Co., highlighted the strategic significance of these locations, noting that increasing the brand’s visibility at such iconic shopping destinations provides an excellent opportunity to connect with customers as Abercrombie continues to expand in London.
The growth is a major vote of confidence in London’s retail industry, especially in regions that have historically been dominated by tourists.
