With the aim of creating a new agile powerhouse for strategy, e-commerce and digital experience, ten award-winning digital-marketing agencies and consultancies are coming together to form an extensive service front, called the Together Group, for beauty, fashion, premier lifestyle and consumer retailers and brands.
The group pressed upon the need of strategic alliances by stating in their press release that ‘while the big holding groups like WPP, Publicis and Dentsu are suffering from growing pressures on their traditional advertising-dominated business model, the big strategy firms like McKinsey, The Boston Consulting Group, Accenture and Deloitte are increasingly acquiring creative capabilities.”
They even described themselves as the ‘Champion’s League of owner-led agencies’ and added the fact that only in the year 2017, strategy firms spent more than US $ 4 billion acquiring creative and digital agencies as per the discoveries of the research firm R3 Worldwide.“
The press release sheds light on their future plans, as they said that they will build upon its members’ track record with international premium, luxury and lifestyle brands, “The group’s initial focus will be on purpose-driven and digital transformation for fashion, beauty, hospitality, other premium consumer and lifestyle brands, and retailers.”
One of the big names in this venture is Sweden Unlimited , the New York-based e-commerce creative agency that provides services for fashion front-runners like Estée Lauder, Kate Spade and W Hotels. They are accompanied by specialists in luxury-lifestyle and fashion brands like Folk Commerce and London-based agency Skywire and e-commerce consultancy 5XThinking, all .
In-house platform specialists would be providing the technical capability who excel in serving all relevant e-commerce platforms and content-management solutions, with the inclusion of award-winning agencies like UK Magento Enterprise Partner Two Jay, as well as dedicated partners for Shopify Plus, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Adobe Experience Manager, Sitecore and a few others that are yet to be announced.
Before the next twelve months, the Together group, which will be headquartered in London, also plans an international stock exchange listing as it is looking into liaising with international investors interested in investing as part of their core IPO process.
