For the third quarter that concluded in December 2024, the footwear manufacturer Lehar Footwears Ltd. recorded a 112 per cent increase in net profit to US $ 2,31,060, compared to US $ 121,951 in the same time last year. For the quarter, the company’s revenue increased by 87 per cent.
Lehar stated that the domestic business remained stagnant due to a sluggish consumption environment, while the export business experienced slight degrowth, mainly due to weaker global demand. The company anticipates a recovery in Government supply business as Government operations stabilise following the 2024 elections.
The company introduced single-mold EVA footwear during the quarter, aiming to attract the younger demographic with the latest designs and trends. Lehar Footwears Ltd. sells its goods through e-commerce platforms, export markets, trade distribution channels, retail multi-brand stores, and Government programs.
