Indian sportswear and athleisure company, Agilitas Sports has appointed Sahil Kansal as Senior Director to lead retail expansion across its portfolio, including One8, HOKA, Lotto, SportsYard and The KIT.
Kansal joins the sportswear company after more than 12 years at Croma, where he most recently served as Vice President – Property Development & Design. He brings nearly two decades of experience in retail expansion, property development, franchising, location strategy and business development.
At Croma, Kansal held several leadership roles, overseeing property development, store expansion, catchment analysis and commercial feasibility. His earlier experience includes business development and expansion roles at Baskin Robbins, Fylfot Hospitality and CityInfo Services.
The appointment comes as Agilitas expands its presence across sportswear manufacturing, brands and physical retail. Founded in 2023, the company acquired footwear manufacturer Mochiko Shoes and has developed its brand portfolio, including One8 in partnership with Virat Kohli and Lotto under a long-term licensing agreement.
Agilitas is planning a 300-store expansion comprising 10 SportsYard flagship stores, 100–200 Lotto outlets and around 100 One8 stores. The proposed network will span multiple retail formats, requiring different approaches to location strategy, store size, investment and customer segments.
The company has also entered multi-brand sports retail through SportsYard. Its Bengaluru flagship spans 34,000 sq. ft. and houses more than 20 sports and performance brands. The planned expansion will increase its physical retail presence across India.
Kansal’s experience in property strategy, store economics and franchising is expected to support the company’s expansion across these formats.
In June 2026, Agilitas raised Rs 225 crore from Nexus Venture Partners and Rainmatter to support product research and development, manufacturing capacity, retail expansion, technology and brand building.
