Rishi Behal is currently working as Senior Vice President in The Souled Store Pvt. Ltd., a homegrown brand. Earlier he worked for more than 20 years with organisations like Trent Ltd., VF Corporation, Arvind Brands, Future Lifestyle, SKNL and Shahi Exports in global sourcing roles. He has developed various cost products from Luxe to value brands during his tenure. The majority of these have been sourced from Indian manufacturers and product quality has been maintained at par with international suppliers from neighbouring manufacturing hubs like China, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. One of the major steps taken by Rishi Behal in VF Corporation during 2004-06 tenure was “upgrading small and medium-scale suppliers to social compliance as per International SEDEX accreditations”.
Travel and Exploration
Being born in Delhi, then having studied in Hyderabad and getting the opportunity to work in Bengaluru and then settle in Mumbai, I feel like I have seen the entire India. Personally, I like to drive to nearby locations on long weekends. Recently, I travelled over 3000 kilometres to Prayagraj by car to attend Maha Kumbh.
