At West Edmonton Mall, Skechers, the global sportswear brand has opened its first Skechers Performance store in Canada. The new retail format is intended to be an immersive experience where customers can test out Skechers’ newest, most inventive products.
The more than 7,500-square-foot space is notable for its half-size basketball and pickleball courts, which let clients test out Skechers’ newest innovations in real time. Additionally, there are opportunities to explore the brand’s wide range of golf, soccer, running, training, walking, trail and hiking products.
With the widest sales floor of any Skechers concept store in the world, the flagship also features the brand’s most extensive selection of performance shoes, clothing, and accessories to date. Cutting-edge digital LED screens complete the area.
Michael Greenberg, president of Skechers, explained that the new performance store provides athletes of all levels with a comprehensive experience. This includes the brand’s largest selection of performance footwear, apparel, and accessories, as well as Skechers experts and educators to guide customers through the brand’s diverse sport technologies.
