As part of a leadership change to support its international growth strategy, which includes setting up a second headquarters in Europe, the Chinese fashion group Lanvin has named a new executive president.
Andy Lew, the CEO of St. John Knits, was appointed as the group’s executive president, while Eric Chan will step down as CEO to become a board member.
Lew will be in charge of the company’s operations in his new position, including supply chain management and strategic implementation. Along with continuing to be a key leader of the St. John Knits brand, he will also oversee the group’s second headquarters in Europe, which is intended to assist goals for global expansion.
Lew has over 35 years of fashion industry expertise and a track record of success as a pioneer in the luxury market. He has senior roles at Brooks Brothers, Ermenegildo Zegna, and Nordstrom before taking on his current leadership job at St John Knits.
Along with these adjustments, the board decided to increase its size from eight to nine members and named Eric Chan and Alan Liu as directors, replacing Grace Fang.
