The New West End Company (NWEC) has joined High Streets UK as a founding member. High Streets UK is a lobbying group that will work to address the issues that the UK high streets are now facing while also attempting to open up new opportunities.
Businesses from all around the UK, including Liverpool BID Company, FOR Cardiff, Essential Edinburgh, and others, join the company, which manages a sizable portion of real estate in London’s West End. More than 5,000 companies are represented by the high streets concerned.
The main goal of the organisation is to create policies and programs that could support high street development on a local and national level. It aims to be in line with the Labour government’s agenda, which claimed that high streets could support a sustainable economy and were important sources of economic growth.
