To refocus on its primary business of cosmetics, the French firm Rocher stated on Wednesday that it is beginning a process of divestiture for its home products and children’s fashion divisions, which include the Petit Bateau and Stanhome brands.
A stable future, with partners motivated by a vision of growth and sustainability, is what the firm, which owns the cosmetics brands Yves Rocher, Arbonne, Sabon, and Docteur Pierre Ricaud, “will take the time to study acquisition opportunities that could offer Petit Bateau and Stanhome.”
With 370 of its own boutiques, the Petit Bateau brand operates in 55 countries. The brand manufactures 28 million pieces a year, with France accounting for 55 per cent of its revenue, followed by Europe outside of France at 25 per cent and Japan at 10 per cent.
