Zeos, Zalando’s business-to-business division, has been chosen by British apparel retailer Next to be its fulfilment partner in continental Europe.
While Next had previously relied on Zalando Fulfilment Solutions (ZFS) for the majority of its Zalando-based operations, the company said in a statement that this new deal with Zeos Fulfilment broadens the scope of their collaboration to encompass its webshop and other European marketplace operations.
Beginning in Q4 2025, Zeos will handle the majority of Next’s online direct-to-consumer orders in continental Europe, assisting Next in streamlining logistics and increasing inventory efficiency through a single stock pool.
“This partnership combines Zalando’s exceptional operational infrastructure in continental Europe with the expanding reach and strength of the Next brand,” stated Simon Wolfson, Next’s CEO. “Our objective is to increase stock availability and delivery speed for Zalando’s consumers as well as for our own.”
The partnership is characterised as a “significant step” in furthering Zeos’ commercial expansion both on and off the Zalando platform. With its comprehensive logistics, software, and services platform, Zeos, which was founded in 2023, enables fashion and lifestyle retailers to oversee their multi-channel operations throughout Europe. It expands upon Zalando’s infrastructure and technology, which includes a pan-European network of over 40 local transport service providers, 12 logistics centres, and about 20 returns centres.
