Raymond’s spin-off firm, Raymond Lifestyle (RLL), has added Rajiv Sharma as a non-executive director to its board of directors.
With Sharma’s appointment, RLL now has ten directors on its board, seven of whom are independent.
Sharma used to be employed by the Coats Group, a British company that makes structural components and thread for clothing, shoes, and performance textiles. In addition, he has held managerial roles at Saab Systems and Honeywell and sat on the boards of joint ventures at GE Energy and Shell.
Early in September is when RLL, a branded textile and apparel firm, is anticipated to go public. Raymond was separated from the organisation last month.
“The diverse and deep expertise of our board will complement RLL management’s passion and commitment as we pursue large domestic opportunities, including those in the wedding, apparel, and sleepwear segments,” said Gautam Hari Singhania, chairman, RLL.
RLL owns popular brands such as Park Avenue, ColorPlus, Parx, Raymond Made to Measure and Ethnix.
