
Suitsupply, the Netherlands-based tailoring company that shot to fame after controversial advertising campaigns, has recently unveiled its plans to expand its womenswear sister brand, Suistudio, that was launched back in 2017.
A new Suistudio flagship outlet, spread across 4000 plus sq. ft. was opened in New York on 5th September 2018 and the company took the occasion to announce its new store opening which is scheduled to take place in the capital of France (Paris) by the end of the year.
The Dutch brand issued a statement that cited that it is foreseeing a major global potential for Suistudio. Fokke De Jong, Founder & CEO, Suitsupply was quoted as saying, “Men opt for Suitsupply because of our high-end craftsmanship and energized style. For women’s suiting, Suitsupply, with its Suistudio label, is set to bring world-class tailoring to women who want to find their own perfect fit.”
Notably, apart from New York, Suistudio is present in Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Milan, and Shanghai. On the other hand, Suitsupply went past the 100 mark in terms of store count at the beginning of this year with the launch of its new outlet in Boston.
Additionally, comparing his own brand with other retailers, Fokke said that nowadays, while many brands are opting for closure, “People are drawn to Suitsupply because of the energy and flair we bring to tailoring. Our customers want to experience our brand and our offerings both in person as well as through online.”
