MAS Holdings – one of the largest garment manufacturing groups and an apparel tech company in Sri Lanka – has partnered with ByondXR – a market leader for immersive, virtual retail experiences – to create virtual showrooms that aim at enhancing retail experience.
With over US $ 2 billion in revenue and a portfolio of international brands, MAS has recognised the value of moving with the industry into the digital paradigm and has invested in ByondXR to accelerate this shift.
It’s worth noting here that manufacturers and brands are making quick transition to digital fashion in post-pandemic era and, as Metaverse is on everybody’s cards, virtual fashion is only going to see acceleration.
Within this ever-evolving landscape, MAS aims to be a leader in digital product creation and, through ByondXR’s immersive programmes, MAS is able to showcase new collections to global brands in virtual showrooms.
The experience was elevated with 3D designs created by ByondXR’s partner, Browzwear, a leading provider for 3D fashion solutions, which acted as an essential sell-in-tool.
“Products can now be presented in a story like flow, with special features and prices embedded for easy reference,” commented Inoka Liyanagama, Business Director, MAS Linea Aqua.
Noam Levavi, CEO, ByondXR, commented, “MAS is a true tech pioneer in their field, we have been on a journey with them for a while now and it is absolutely inspiring to see how they utilise ByondXR’s platform to build and present sales pitches with an undeniable value that really makes them stand out in front of their customers.”
