In a bid to fast track business for retailers and give a better shopping experience to the consumers, Zeekit, a B2C platform and mobile app, has launched the most advanced Virtual Fitting Room App. The company, which has raised US $ 9 million in a Series ‘A’ round, has launched the app in association with an American luxury accessories, footwear and fashion apparel brand, Rebecca Minkoff.

“At Rebecca Minkoff, the integration of technology and style is paramount. Our partnership with Zeekit developed very organically and was a prime example of the best kind of integration. To be able to virtually try on a garment give customer a chance to access the feel of our product with immediacy – technology like that is made for the millennial consumer,” said Uri Minkoff, CEO and Co-Founder of Rebecca Minkoff.
The Zeekit app helps customer to ‘try on’ apparels before buying them online or in-store. With the help of this app customers can upload a full-body picture and tap on a product they see online, in print or in store, and can check how it looks and fits on their body. Thereafter, they can mix and match it with various fashions from other retailers in their virtual closet and share it with friends or purchase through a link in the app. Even the retailers and brands can easily incorporate the Zeekit button in their online, mobile and physical stores to give shoppers the ability to try on their entire catalogue of products, virtually.
Elaborating more on the app, Yael Vizel, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Zeekit, who was inspired to create Zeekit by mapping technologies used for intelligence missions as a Captain in the Israeli Air Force, said, “We’re creating a new shopping experience by making both online and in-store shopping fun, social, simple and risk-free. Our first-to-market technology is unlike any other visualization technology that exists in the market.”
