Jellibeans, a California-based AI-powered software company for fashion brands’ marketing and research optimisation, has successfully secured a substantial US $ 1 million investment from Aussco, a renowned knitwear supplier catering to prominent brands like The Kooples, Kate Spade, and Coach. Simultaneously, this fashion intelligence and analytics startup has unveiled its latest offering, jelli.studio, an AI-driven end-to-end collaboration platform designed to revolutionise the fashion industry, allowing designers to leverage trend forecasts for rapid prototyping and collection optimisation in under 30 seconds.
Established in 2019, jelli.studio is often referred to as a “Canva for fashion design,” but it sets itself apart by incorporating powerful data analytics and AI image generation capabilities.
Grant J.E. Philips, Senior Vice President at Aussco, articulated their rationale for investing in Jellibeans, emphasising the need for large operations, such as their own, to continually seek fresh designs while simultaneously reducing waste, saving time, and enhancing overall efficiency. Jelli.studio, by democratising design and facilitating collaboration among all stakeholders involved in the design-to-production workflow through a unified platform, addresses these modern challenges head-on.
In a statement, Joanne Chow, CEO and Co-founder of Jellibeans, expressed her enthusiasm for their new venture saying, “jelli.studio is a groundbreaking plug-and-play design and business intelligence tool for the fashion industry, making it more accessible, collaborative, and data-driven than ever before. It ensures that creativity and data-supported fashion design can coexist harmoniously.”
The investment injection from Aussco will play a pivotal role in advancing jelli.studio’s expansion, with plans to evolve the platform into a comprehensive end-to-end solution for fashion designers and suppliers alike.
