H&M Group’s Creator Studio, known for its print-on-demand merchandise service, has introduced its first foray into AI technology. It has unveiled an innovative AI-powered tool that empowers users to swiftly create custom clothing by transforming text input into AI-generated visual artwork.
This text-to-image merch-creation tool uses AI to convert written prompts into apparel mock-ups, featuring custom visual artwork in various pre-set styles. These creations can be instantly sold or purchased and are efficiently fulfilled through H&M Group’s global printing and logistics network, prioritising sustainability and speed.
Creator Studio’s unique technology caters to a diverse range of users, including artists, labels, licensees, and consumers, offering an end-to-end solution for customised clothing printing, enhancing sustainability, cost-effectiveness, and convenience.
Dinesh Nayar, the Managing Director of Creator Studio, expressed their commitment to removing barriers for customers in content creation. The integration of a seamless AI artwork creation tool aligns with their customised manufacturing mission.
All AI-generated artwork is featured on Creator Studio’s clothing line, True Blanks, which includes an expanding collection of designs for men, women, and children. These products are crafted using 100 per cent organic cotton or recycled polyester, underlining their commitment to sustainability.
