
ThreadSol, a technology provider to the global apparel industry, has announced that it will partner with Thai Garment Manufacturers Association (TGMA) to deploy latest tech solutions in the country’s readymade garment (RMG) sector.
Notably, TGMA was formed in 1973 with an objective to promote and support Thai apparel manufacturing business with research, trade, production, development and other activities.
As an initial step under this partnership, ThreadSol and TGMA jointly held a seminar for garment manufacturers of the country recently to discuss the importance of Digitisation in Garment Industry.
Reportedly, ThreadSol will providing a solution that can help Thai manufacturers save at least 10 per cent cost while buying raw materials. The company offers enterprise material management tools to allow manufacturers buy just the right amount of fabric and use that fabric with minimum wastage.
Khun Raweewan Metsiritrakul, VP, TGMA said that nowadays the market is getting competitive and it is important to be prepared to adapt to the transformation of fashion trends, cost, and technology.
Markedly, ThreadSol uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Big Data which are targeted to boost top-line and bottom-line of the apparel sector. ThreadSol technologies have been adopted by many apparel companies like Brandix, MAS Holdings and Luen Thai.
