For over six decades Ramsons have been in the manufacture of garment finishing equipments, laundry and dry cleaning equipments; the valuable industry experience and numerous satisfied clients have created a name for the company. Moving with the changing needs of the industry, a key area of focus today for the company is on denim finishing, offering a range of both dry and wet denim process solutions.
In dry processing, Spray booth system – RSB 075 is equipped with an automatic water curtain which ensures that all the particles from the air are absorbed and mixed with the water which can be regularly discharged without any contamination; the exhaust will therefore be free from any spray particles. The system is available in different sizes to accommodate from 1 to 6 mannequins. Ramsons ‘Kabab’ machine is another innovation in technology to provide 3D round natural whisker along with partial curing to hold the whisker in the same form on denim and non-denim bottoms.
Under the brand name of D’hooge, Ramsons brings out a unique range of washer extractors. These machines are suitable for performing both the processes of washing and extracting, hence eliminating the need of two machines. Customers can choose from models of capacities varying from 570 to 2050 litres.
Realizing that the user industry is not always equipped with steam boilers, Ramsons offers a range of fuel fired laundry equipment, fitted with special attachments that ensures that the heating and heat transfer is done by different fuels including natural gas like CNG, LPG, diesel and thermal fluid.
Keeping flexibility in mind, Ramsons also offers the Vertostar series for washing and textile processing machine, which can perform both dyeing and washing of the garments. The machine is hydraulically operated for lifting and unloading using a hydro pack. With a total computerized system, the machine utilizes a low liquor ratio of 1:4 or 1:5, hence consuming very less water. Usually, dyeing involves injecting steam into the chamber to maintain temperature, which leads to disturbing the liquor ratio. To avoid this problem, all the machines are equipped with an indirect heating jacket made up of thermal conductors, welded in the machine which maintains the temperature of the liquid, without any need to supply steam.
With one of the largest manufacturing facilities in Asia, Ramsons has a total of 180 products to offer. “I believe that after the introduction of the new budget for textile sector, more investments will take place in this sector and in turn in garmenting as well,” says Sunder Belani, Director, Ramsons.
“I have 27 competitors from Turkey alone and not many of them have survived, because the backup service required is of utmost significance, besides also an expensive affair. Moreover, due to our joint venture with the many European companies, our machines are equally efficient, giving us an edge over Turkish companies,” he concluded.
