Megasew’s flat seaming machine is in great demand from the knitted garment industry especially sportswear. The company specializes in 4 needle flat seaming machine, of which they are the leading producers in Taiwan, and interlock stitch machine for knitwear garments. The machine is with 4 needles, 6 threads feed-off-the-arm ultra high-speed interlock. While talking to Team Apparel Online Bangladesh, James Huang, Director, Megasew briefs, “There are two models in this machine MJ62DX and MJ62D and both are very good for sportswear and brands like Nike and Adidas that sew on flat sewing machines. These two models have also bagged the Taiwan Innovation Award and the Taiwan Excellence Award 2010.”
Comparing his machine with the Japanese machines James says, “These models have the same specifications to that of a Japanese-make, however, cost wise we are almost 25 per cent less while the quality and performance is the same. This machine has some leakage protection patents and energy saving technologies which are not present in the Japanese counterparts.”
