Lectra is presenting many new innovative products at CISMA 2009 such as VectorFashion MX, it represents a step ahead in technology and provides a very high level of production speed and cutting quality. Complex pieces can be cut with great precision such that no buffer zones are required between cut pieces. Therefore, due to its high speed and cutting precision it offers a lot of flexibility to the cutting room and can handle large orders swiftly.
Offload system is another new, smooth cutting process, available as an option on the entire range of Vector cutters. Lectra’s offloading assistance system helps to streamline the process of unloading pieces and prevent sorting errors. A large flat screen integrated into the Vector cutters allows users to view different combinations of pieces so that offloading can be performed much more quickly and without errors. The possibility of producing more complex cut orders, which save significant amount of material, is possible through this system.
New Vector Pilot (V1R2) which was launched in February 2007 has proved an absolute triumph. The Vector Pilot software brings a new level of intelligence to the system and makes the Vector cutting equipment an even more powerful system. The software ensures excellent cut quality at high speed on tangent pieces, optimising the blade path for greater efficiency, also the new version has made significant improvements in performing difficult manoeuvres The Vector Pilot is easier to use due to the application of “Simplexity”, a sophisticated piece of software that aims to make a complex application as simple to use as possible.
Lectra has also been in the forefront of providing the design solution. Its latest offering Kaledo (V2R1), provides designers with the most advanced textile and fashion development and management capacities whereas its other new offerings such as the latest versions of Modaris (V6R1), its pattern-making solution , Modaris the virtual 3D prototyping solution and DiaminoFashion (V5R3), its marker-making solution help the industries in optimizing fabric consumption and time-to-market.
