JUKI, the world renowned technology company that has heralded a green wave in the sewing machine manufacturing industry by carefully eliminating the use of hazardous substances has just developed a new eco-friendly, high-speed, computer-controlled buttonholing indexer AC-172N-1790 which complies with Juki Eco Products. The machine is designed for vertical strip patterns with technical features like sub-clamp device, LBH-1790 head, cloth edge sensor, dry head technology, etc. which gains higher productivity with consistent quality.
The unique preset mechanism available in the machine facilitates the placement of a second garment panel while the first one is in process. The mechanism helps in reducing the time required to place the subsequent garment body on the sewing machine by 5 seconds for each operating cycle while the sewing machine is in operation. Therefore the time taken per panel for button-holing has been reduced from the usual 12.5 seconds to just 7 seconds. Thus an operator can simultaneously operate three machines, enhancing the productivity from 2880 pieces per 8 hours shift to 3429 pieces now, with the help of preset mechanism present in the machine.
Equipped with LBH-1790 head, which is highly evaluated in terms of functions and performance, the machine is very much quality concern and assists the operator very efficiently. Its sub-clamp device fixes the panels at the stitching zone without any slippage and both – the marking light and edge sensor – ensure the proper placement of the vertical strip fabric.
Juki has applied its dry head technology in the design, which means the metal parts of the machine (especially at the stitching zone) don’t require any lubricants; as a result there would be no possibility of oil stains. Besides all these facilities, this new machine is capable to store 20 different stitching patterns in its memory and produces 1.5dB less noise than the conventional machines which results in reducing irritation levels of the operator.
