Taking a forward leap from classic animal prints, widely popular in the winter, are these amalgamations which take form through new fauna prints and are adopted in colour pop shades to represent the chaos of the jungle, as well as the diversity of it. While Duro Olowu, Stella Jean and Peter Pilotto merged several different species together in one garment, Alberta Ferretti, Tracy Reese, Jenni Kayne and Fashion East created disorder through not one but from different angles and shades. Tiptoeing between urban and tribal, these chaotic prints made their way on figure-flattering silhouettes where a mélange of oversized blossoms, detailed botanicals, decorative tribal, animal skins and abstract geometry all came into play.
