Recently concluded Yarn Expo Spring 2015 reported a 3 per cent increase in visitor numbers, who came from over 46 countries and totalled to 21,000 in number, as compared to the last edition. “We are very happy to see the growth momentum after we achieved a significant jump of over 200 per cent last year when we first came to Shanghai. Altogether 238 exhibitors from 15 countries and regions participated in the fair,” said Wendy Wen, senior GM at Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd. The expo showcased a variety of natural and blended yarns including cotton, wool, flax/regenerated flax, and man-made fibres and yarns as well as specialty products including elastic, and fancy and blended yarns.
