The National Association for the US Sewn Products and Textile Industries, SEAMS, is geared up to celebrate its 50th anniversary at the annual spring networking conference entitled “Shaping the Next 50 Years”. The conference is scheduled to take place on May 16 and 17, 2017, in North Carolina, USA and will explore the opportunities for diverse sewn products brands, manufacturers, OEMs and future trends of the sewing industry.
According to SEAMS President Jeremy Wootten, “While we will pay tribute to the first 50 years of SEAMS members and industry leadership, we are focusing our conference agenda on how our members and guests can best prepare for and embrace the future.”
The conference is a platform for textile providers, contract manufacturers, brands, vertical retailers and their suppliers as well as service providers who collectively represent the complete concept-to-consumer supply chain. It also aims at promoting the continued growth of the US fashion, sewn products and textile industries through educational programs, networking opportunities, business opportunity matchmaking, industry collaboration and special member benefits packages.
