
UK’s much-anticipated premium fashion tradeshow that boasts of the largest gathering of fashion buyers, Pure London (scheduled to take place from 22nd to 24th July 2018 at London Olympia) has revealed an exponential growth in the Premium Womenswear Section, indicating a positive outlook for the luxury womenswear sector.
Capitalising on the same, London’s largest festival of fashion has announced the entry of new brands such as Max Mara Group’s Emme Marella to their Spring Summer 2019 edition.
This would be a first timer for the said brand at Pure London.
“Emme Marella is a beautiful brand and the one we feel that buyers will be over the moon to discover at the show this season,” Melanie Alston Green, Head of Womenswear at Pure London said.
The brand is a fresh and versatile clothing line for every occasion featuring unique prints and contemporary separates with competitive pricing.
For the Spring/Summer 2019 season, the brand offers an assortment of interesting proposals in terms of prints, such as an eye-catching and bold mix of floral and geometric patterns, and a wide variety of elegant silhouettes.
Apart from this, new brands such as On Parle de Vous, POM Amsterdam, Caban Romantic, Giulia Rossignoli and UN-NYE, amonh others, will be joining regulars such as Jane Lushka, Ania Schielholt, Humility, Beate Heymann, Vilagallo and Exquise at the three-day event.
Pure London 2018 will deliver substantial growth in terms of new and emerging brands from around the world showcasing their product offerings and providing visitors with the opportunity to discover fresh and new trend in fashion.
A section dedicated to resort wear includes a line-up of labels such as Australian brands Jaase and Naudic, as well as high-end British designers Ziiga and Sophia Alexia.
Guests will also be able to view merchandise from Echappees Belles, Mariella Rosati, 4 Funky Flavours, British label Emily & Fin, and Nice Things (which is returning to the show after many years).
The show poses as a one-stop shop for all business related needs with an impressive line-up of a strongly edited collection of over 700 global brands covering womenswear, menswear, footwear and accessories sectors, as well as newly introduced sections for kidswear and maternity wear called Pure KID, and ethical brands under the Pure Conscious section.
Under the Pure Conscious section, People Tree and Skunkfunk will be showcasing, who have pursued an ambitious ethical, social and environmental agenda for over 20 years.
Amal Kiran Jana’s Afterlife Project brings a host of inspirational labels including a handcrafted ethical collection made from industrial surplus leather called Aamogh, and a handmade collection from industrial surplus denim called Angnesis, percentage of profits of which are donated.
Burrow draws inspiration from imperfect art and prints celebrating flaws and the harmony of nature. They incorporate fabrics that are dyed using natural herbs and hand dying techniques to minimise pollution and carbon footprint. Dag dai, another sustainable label, weaves it’s own silk and cotton material at Bankura district in West Bengal India. It has a fair wage policy and provides a healthy and clean environment for production of all its garments and materials.
The Spirit section is re-edited this season, offering more British designers including Elizabeth An’Marie and Amy Lynn, and exciting new international names including POL Clothing from the US, Tally Weijl from Switzerland, and Australian brand Honey and Beau.
