The Premiertex Africa, which begins on 18 June 2019 in Nairobi, may see over 50 textile manufacturers from across the globe visit the event.
The 3-day event would serve as an ideal platform for the textile companies to meet the best of Kenyan dealers in garments, textiles and cotton.
More on the same, Skander Negasi, Chief Executive, Trade and Fairs Consulting, said that the event would help connecting the local textile dealers, including apparel, fabrics and fashion and technology firms with global textile companies to cut sourcing costs.
According to a German national, fabric is very expensive in Kenya and therefore the country is largely dependent on costly imports from China and other Asian countries. He added that the event will help addressing this issue.
The event, for the first time, will see more than 50 manufacturers from across 7 nations displaying the best and the latest of their products, much to the requirement of over 1,000 industry professionals from East Africa.
Premiertex Africa is being organised by Trade and Fairs Consulting.
