
India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO) is holding country-wide participation at INTERMODA – International Apparel & Textile Fair, slated to be held at Expo Guadalajara Exhibition Centre, Guadalajara (Mexico) from January 17 to 20, 2017.
INTERMODA is the continent’s largest specialized exhibition that attracts more than 10,000 businessmen including world’s leading apparel and textile buyers, fashion wear manufacturers, and service providers. Various conferences on colour, textures and fabric as well as fashion shows highlighting new trends and merchandising will also take place at the show.
As Mexico is a part of TPP agreement, this market seems to be more challenging for Indian apparel exporters. In a press release issued, ITPO said that it aims to provide an excellent business opportunity in high potential Mexican market which attracts a large number of buyers from North America and Latin American regions.

Participation at the fair will offer opportunities for Indian companies to export more apparel, textile, leather garments, fashion accessories blouses, skirts, evening wear, etc. to the Mexican market. The event also brings together Mexican and international companies, manufacturers, importers and distributors. Mexico is a strategically located Latin America country – bound by the United States to the North and Belize and Guatemala to the South-East.
