The Ladakh International Fashion Runway is celebrating India’s G20 presidency through the launch of its schedule of trips and fashion showcases. The event will bring fashion ambassadors from multiple counties to one room where the participants will bring knowledge and expertise for the success of the event.
Ladakh Fashion Runway announced on Facebook, “The G20 event is a melting pot of diversity. International participants from all corners of the globe bring their unique backgrounds, traditions, and perspectives, creating a vibrant tapestry of cultures. Together, we foster cross-cultural understanding and strengthen global ties.”
Miss Earth India 2022 winner Vanshika Parmar, commented, “The historic event aims to combat climate crisis by means of sustainable fashion and promote eco-tourism in Ladakh. Besides, it will celebrate the local craftsmanship and rich cultural heritage of India. This event is also a Guinness Book of World Records attempt as the highest elevation fashion ramp to be performed at an altitude of 19,022 feet on Umling La.”
