
The 50th edition of Hong Kong Fashion Week for Fall/Winter begins today at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The four-day fashion event, which concludes on 17 January, is organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council.
Nearly 1,400 exhibitors across the globe are participating at the event. Some of the major product categories to be showcased at the show include ladieswear, menswear, kidswear, sportswear, lingerie, swimwear and fabrics.
Besides, there will be separate zones for shoes, handbags, shawls, buttons and labels, which are also expected to draw large number of visitors.
The show will also exhibit the best of the new technology as well as trade services.
After an impressive debut last year, the ‘Corporate Fashion’ and ‘Uniforms’ segments are expected to once again grace the show.
The event is showcasing exquisite collections of uniforms from renowned Hong Kong designers like Allan Chiu, Barney Cheng, Kurt Ho and Nelson Leung, Lulu Cheung and Mountain Yam among others.
The International Fashion Designers’ Showcase displays mesmerising masterpieces of international designers from different parts of the world.
