One of the leading home textile fairs, Home Textiles Sourcing Expo Summer 2018 is all set to raise the curtains at Javits Convention Center in New York on July 23.

The focus of the event will be on global home textile landscape, upcoming Autumn/Winter 2019-2020 colour trends and an additional specific panel that will convert fashion trends into home decor.

The 3-day textile event will host various seminars and panel discussions.

At seminars, Warren Shoulberg, a business journalist will provide key insights into the changing international trade policies and how the shift in sourcing models for importers and exporters is hampering the global home textile market. He will also address the attendees on the impact of sourcing shift on major hubs like India, Pakistan, China and Europe.

A panel discussion on topics such as translating Fashion Trend to Decor with Staying Power that will witness a fast-paced visual tour with embroidery expert and design blogger Jana Platina Phipps, through what’s “haute” and which trends can be integrated right into the home market.

Notably, it is the only event that completely focusses on home textiles and finished soft goods for every home application in North America. It will thereby discuss how American retailers and wholesalers may change their strategies, including the possibility of the return of domestic manufacturing in the US.

The home textile event works as a marketplace for networking, sourcing and education and it is a one-stop venue for manufacturers and retailers to find new fabrics and products for their collections.

Markedly, Home Textile Sourcing Expo will feature six main product categories from its international exhibitors in this year’s event which includes upholstery, bed, bathroom, table, window and floor.
