Goldratt India, an Indian management consulting working with the principles of Dr. Elihayu M. Goldratt’s Theory of Constraints (TOC), will be hosting a workshop titled, ‘Increasing Availability without Increasing Inventory: TOC Workshop for Supply Chain’ on March 9, 2016 in the south Indian city of Bangalore. The workshop looks at delineating methods based on the TOC to help cope with challenges of supply chain management like shortage of input materials, change in production plans, inability to meet targets, and poor on-time delivery performance.
The workshop will present to its attendees the fundamentals of Reliable Rapid Replenishment – the TOC solution for managing supply chain changes. The workshop’s resource person is Ravi Gilani, Founder & Managing Consultant, Goldratt India. He introduced Goldratt’s Theory of Constraints in India in 1998. Ravi is currently a board member of TOCICO (Theory of Constraints International Certification Organization).

Theory of Constraints, first introduced in the book The Goal by Dr. Eli Goldratt, is a management philosophy that treats a corporation as an interlinked, interdependent system rather than just a collection of independent processes or functions.
