Dubai, known for luxury shopping, ultramodern architecture, is preparing to host exhibitors from Europe, India, China, Indonesia, Japan, Turkey and various other countries during the upcoming three-day 9th International Apparel & Textile Fair (IATF).
The textile exhibition is slated to take place from November 12-14 this year at Dubai World Trade Centre, the iconic hub for the region’s premier tradeshows.
Dubai, one of the biggest importers of textile and apparel products, hosted 15,000 visitors and 600 exhibitors at the 8th edition of IATF.
Majorly a trade-only event, IATF gives a platform to exhibitors to showcase their products to the most influential buyers and designers on the UAE scene.
Numerous skilled and high-profile industry experts from the regional fashion industry will also be attending the event.
Dubai has been chosen as venue for the event as around 200 apparel manufacturing companies are present in the region. It accounts for around 5.5 per cent of the world’s annual textile and clothing sales. Also, the UAE is now world’s fourth-largest trading centre of fashion and apparel.
The event has emerged as a leading brand in the MENA region to source and showcase the best in textiles, fabric, accessories and print from renowned mills across the globe.
