Luxury brand Archana Kochhar showcased an array of men’s and women’s traditional and fusion-style occasion wear at the launch of Estetica Hair Magazine in New Delhi, with Bollywood celebrity Malaika Arora closing the runway as the showstopper.
The eponymous designer Archana Kochhar’s presentation embodied classic Indian festive glamour. Models walked the ramp in glittering lehengas and suits, featuring midnight black ensembles inspired by the night sky and adorned with hand embroidery.
The ‘Midnight Ebony’ fashion show, directed by Shie Lobo, featured fine jewellery provided by Pyare Lal Jaggannath Saraf, as announced by Archana Kochhar on Facebook. The Shangrila New Delhi served as the backdrop for the show, with models’ hair styled by the event’s salon partner, Luca Piattelli.
“Midnight Ebony is a celebration of nighttime shimmers and the allure of Indo-Western silhouettes,” said Kochhar about her collection, according to India News Calling. “I wanted to create a collection that embodies the spirit of today’s women, perfect for nighttime shimmers and sangeet festivities.”
