The second edition of the nouveau Bangladeshi niche show dedicated to the burgeoning denim industry of country, Denim Expo 2015 will be held in Dhaka on May 11-12. Featuring a strong sustainability theme, the Expo will feature seminars on sustainable technologies for denim treatment and sessions looking at more sustainable methods of chemical processing in denim manufacture. The country is the second largest exporter of denim in the world after China, shipping around 180 million pieces of denim jeans around the world annually manufactured by a handful of 25 manufacturers. This event will present Bangladesh as a single sourcing platform for denim, reckon the organizers.
