Tianhai Athleisure (TAS), a new division of Chinese lace manufacturer Tianhai Lace, will present a new Design-to-Garment platform – D2G with creora® Fresh spandex at the upcoming trade show – ‘Performance Days’, a functional fabric fair for the sourcing of high performance functional fabrics and accessories to be held on 16th and 17th November 2016 in Munich, Germany.
D2G, a design-to-fit jacquard program, is a flexible and versatile body-mapping system in which pattern repetitions can be engineered to any garment’s shape or size. It enables brands to develop exclusive patterns for tops and bottoms, including finishing details such as hem, waist, neckline and more. The program requires close cooperation with a customer’s designers and technical staff as each and every fabric will be unique for the planned garment.

The fabrics can be engineered to offer various levels of compression with creora® spandex in the resulting body-mapped garments which will have fewer seams while providing breathability and comfort along with tailored high performance functions. Additional functionality can be incorporated to provide moisture management, thermal or cooling benefits and with creora® Fresh, odour neutralization.
