
The 3-day fair – China Homelife Exhibition 2015, to be held from December 8-10, returns to Dubai with an increase in participation of around 5 per cent. The exhibition is one of the largest sourcing platforms for Chinese products with an array of products from six core sectors comprising textile, garments, home furnishing, etc.

Around 800 exhibitors participated at the show last year and displayed over 10,000 products. The show registered whopping turnover of US $ 32.5 million over 3 days of exhibition, which is expected to further surge this year. The upcoming edition of China Homelife Expo 2015 has already broken records, thereby making this exhibition the largest sourcing platform in the last six years – with rise in participants and the products to be displayed will be near to about 50,000 products.

Dubai has emerged as the trade hub in the recent years and also the largest re-export centre of Middle-East. Strategic location with the ongoing developments in infrastructure and logistics makes the city for advantageous and attractive for trade. The relationship between China and Dubai further gets sweetened by the events like China Home Life Expo 2015 where their aim is to cover the vital sectors of the Chinese trade which is apparently visible by the surge in the number of participants. It has also been observed that trade between Dubai and China has gone up, with current figures touching US $ 39 billion-mark and expectations of reaching US $ 40 billion this year.
