2015 China International Garment & Textile Fair in Dalian from September 19-22 will witness 1,000 companies from China and the rest of the world. Liu Yan, deputy mayor of Dalian claimed that up to 50,000 industry professionals are expected to attend the event with 5,000 coming from overseas. The global fashion brand Victoria’s Secret will stage at the opening show. To explore new ways to promote the apparel and textile industry CIGTF is cooperating with e portals like Alibaba.com, Tencent, and arkofchina.com. The exhibition area will cover 5 square meters with 1,500 booths. They will display apparel, accessories, fabrics and trimmings, as well as fashion brands and creative works by designers.
