The 4th Africa Sourcing and Fashion Week (ASFW), to be held from 1 to 4 October at the Millennium Hall in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, will see participation from over 250 manufacturers and exporters across 25 countries.
The 4-day event will showcase products such as apparels, fashion, home textiles, trims, fabrics, and accessories among others. The wholesalers and retailers are also expected to be a part of the event.
More than 4,000 business professionals as well as those from sourcing offices will in all probability be visiting the fair. It is worth noting that in 2017, the event had seen a surge of 30 per cent in exhibitors and another 5 per cent increase in the number of visitors. ASFW 2018 has already been touted as a big stage for not just East Africa but for every manufacturer across Africa.
ASFW 2018, to be conducted in association with Ethiopia Textile and Garment Manufacturers Association, Ethiopia Textile Development Institute and Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH, will also display the best of machines and technology used in the apparel and textile production.
The event will also organise conferences on varied subjects ranging from sustainability to technology. There will also be a panel that will discuss about investment opportunities in African nations like Ethiopia, Kenya, Madagascar, and Mauritius.
