
According to National Council of Textile Organizations’ (NCTO) export analysis, the US has achieved US $ 26.3 billion in the exports of fibre, yarns, fabrics, made-ups, and apparel in the year 2016. The NCTO is a Washington DC-based trade association that represents domestic textile manufacturers of the US.
As per the released data during the annual meeting of NCTO, US registered US $ 4.0 billion in cotton and wool exports, US $ 4.5 billion in yarns exports, US $ 8.6 billion in fabric exports, US $ 3.6 billion in home furnishings, carpet, and other non-apparel sewn products and US $ 5.6 billion in exports of apparels worldwide.

It’s worth mentioning here that the US is well-positioned globally in fibre, yarn, fabric, and non-apparel sewn product’s exports market and the country was the world’s 3rd largest individual exporter of these products in 2015.
