According to a recent Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the Northern India Textile Research Association (NITRA) and the Technological University of Tajikistan (TUT), NITRA will set up skill development centres for core textile mills across Tajikistan to impart training and develop skills. Co-ordinator of International Trade Centre and leader of the 13-member Tajikistan delegation, Armen Zargaryan said that except India being a knowledge centre with tremendous skills and training abilities, it will also help Tajikistan in getting in touch with new vendors in Central Asian countries. The MoU will be mutually beneficial for both the countries as it will help in increasing trade linkages and expanding businesses.
