Abu Hena Md Rahmatul Muneem, the Chairman of Bangladesh’s National Board of Revenue (NBR) has underlined that the tax incentives as given to the industries in the country, will continue as sudden withdrawal of the waivers may affect their production even as he added other countries also give tax waivers incognito.
This is as per reports, which maintained the NBR Chief made the observation recently in the wake of suggestion for a rethink on the same even as he added that it’s a ‘policy support’ in the form of tax exemption while underlining other nations including the developed ones from the European Union and even Japan.
He, however, further maintained the NBR may gradually cut the benefit, which it reportedly already did in the current fiscal year’s budget for some of the manufacturing sectors in the country.
