“We are proud to announce that our company has been appointed as the sole distributor of Organ Needle, Japan in India,” said an elated Sanjay Mehta, MD, Sunny Sales. The company, whose principles include Baihui, Sendo, Maqi, Messer and Kaisiman, gained 25-30% growth last year and is focusing more on the domestic market.
Producing sewing machine needles since 1936 in Japan, Organ supplies these needles for domestic and industrial machines, as well as needles and hooks for bookbinding machines. The company logo, a music instrument and the organ playing lady, reminisces to the good old days of the gramophone needles, produced by Organ in the very beginning. In the year 1977 Ruppel + Maihofer Gmbh began with the exclusive distribution of the Organ sewing machine needles in Europe, the Maghreb states and the Near East.
“With our philosophy to supply high quality products at reasonable prices within a short time, we feel equally proud with our association with Sunny Sales and are looking towards more and better penetration in the Indian market,” established Masato Ibaraki, Business Development Division, Organ Needle. Being an established brand for providing sewing needles, the company has recently introduced special thin needles series – NY2 that helps in avoiding skip stitches and puckering in the garment. With their SK series, the company has introduced special needles with a deep scarf, which helps in eliminating skipped stitches by allowing bobbin hook to loop the thread more easily.
