
With labour and energy costs going up in countries such as China, the textile mills are now getting shifted to US, mainly in South, helping the textile industry to come back to its normal pace. The mills shifting their base have also said that the labour is easily available here with an intention to learn and enhance skills.
Recently, Keer, Chinese textile mill, set up its factory in US, and the manufactured observed that the land here is cheap compared to China, moreover, power and energy supple is uninterrupted, thus allows factories to run smoothly. As the investment is pouring in the South, the sector is also reviving with companies coming in with more automated functionalities.
