Baburao Chinchansur, Minister for Textiles, Ports and District In-Charge has said Karnataka State Government has proposed to set up a Textile Training Centre in Kalaburagi at a cost of around Rs. 10 crore on 5 acres of land.
The Centre would train people for jobs in textile parks at Kadechur and Badiyal Industrial hubs. The initiative will not only help in skilling the people on latest technology and get the employed but will also help the state to utilise its in-house resources in the projected parks.
