Expansion and compliance are two basic necessities for growth and many companies are following this mantra. Delhi based Sahaj Dyeing & Printing Works is also on the same track by starting its new and compliant factory in Greater Noida which is under construction and expected to be complete in the next 6 months. The company, producing scarves and stoles for mainly French and German markets has also added two new wholesale buyers from Italy recently. Amar Chandra Sadh, heading the 14 years old company and having experience of 25 years with the textile industry, shared his expansion plans with Apparel Online, “Our buyers were demanding BSCI audit (Business Social Compliance Initiative) and business, which is also on growth path. So we decided to start a new unit which is in 510 sq. metres and will be an added advantage for us by reducing our dependency on outsourcing. New buyers are also in the pipeline as recently two new wholesaler buyers placed orders with us of 40,000 pieces.” Working with wholesalers only, the company offers products from US $ 1 to US $ 10 and is doing business of Rs. 4 crore. It is fairly hopeful about good growth after the expansion.
