Presidium member of Bangladesh’s Jatiya Party (JP) recently called on Iraq to import more garment items from Bangladesh.
According to reports, Md Solaiman Alam Seth urged Iraq to do so as he called on Iraq Ambassador to Bangladesh Abdulsalam Saddam Mohaimsen recently.
Underlining Bangladesh had signed a trade agreement with Iraq in 1971 to facilitate trade and commerce, which has the potential to strengthen economic cooperation between the two countries, Md Solaiman Alam Seth, reportedly, stated further it will be easier to identify sectors for trade and investment if trade delegations from both the Government and business levels of the two nations visited each other’s countries.
