
For boosting productivity, the role of the 10-year master plan is very essential since it has brought vibrancy to the process of economic improvement.
The primary goal of the ten-year master plan 2021–2030 is to increase productivity across many industries, including services, apparel, agriculture, and industry by addressing natural disasters and the negative effects of climate change on the nation.
Administrative officials came up with the observation while addressing a seminar styled Productivity Improvement through Implementation of the Bangladesh National Productivity Master Plan. District administration organized the seminar at its conference hall supported by the National Productivity Organization (NPO).
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shamim Ahmed addressed the seminar as a focal person giving an overview of the master plan and its development aspects.
Deputy Director of Local Government Division Ashraful Islam and Additional DCs Kolyan Chowdhury and Sarker Asim Kumar also spoke.
According to DC Shamim Ahmed, the master plan has increased productivity in the services, manufacturing, and agricultural sectors. Under the careful and forward-thinking direction of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, modern Bangladesh has been progressing along the development path.
After elevation from the least developed country, Bangladesh is now on the path of becoming a middle-incoming one.
The master plan’s implementation will increase industry productivity while simultaneously raising product quality, competence, and innovative skill levels to a satisfactory level.
He also added the plan has been prepared to help the country achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, implement the Eighth Five-Year Plan, and improve productivity, quality and competitiveness.
The government is working to implement a plan to increase productivity at the national level.
