
Net profit at textile major Mafatlal Industries surged by 68 per cent in the first quarter of the current fiscal. The company’s net profit zoomed to Rs. 6.50 crore against Rs. 3.87 crore in the corresponding period last year. Standalone sales also increased to around Rs. 365.01 crore, up a steep 61.31 per cent from Rs. 226.21 crore in the previous fiscal’s first quarter.
