Thanking UNIDO or the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation for its contribution to promote inclusive and sustainable industrial development (ISID) in the member states, Bangladesh Minister for Industries Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun has urged it to mobilise innovative and green technologies for nations that are set to make the LDC transition.
According to reports, the Minister for Industries, maintained the same recently while virtually participating in the 19th general conference of UNIDO — Presidents of Kenya, Madagascar and Rwanda, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, the Prime Minister of Tunisia, amongst others, attended and delivered speeches at the high-level opening segment of the conference — even as he led the Bangladesh delegation to the same.
